Veteran, Mike O'Brien, Joins Global Velocity as Vice President
of Engineering
ST. LOUIS, Sept.

Velocity, Inc., a next generation networking company providing
security solutions around deep packet inspection of data
flows at gigabit speeds, today announced the hiring of
Mike O’Brien to the position of Vice President of
Engineering.

Mike O’Brien brings
26 years of progressive telecommunications and information
services technical and management experience. Most recently
Mr. O’Brien served as VP of Engineering for Ineo USA,
Inc., a network security company focused on the telecommunications
industry. Prior to Ineo, Mike was VP of Technical Services
for Log On America where he managed all aspects of technical
design, implementation, security and operations of the broadband
business unit. Before Log On America, Mike spent 11 years
at Sprint where he held several executive technical positions,
and had the opportunity to patent several of his own inventions
around networking.
