GVS2000

Global Velocity’s product family leverages an open, modular network appliance based upon the industry standard microTCA specification. The GVS2000 performs wire speed deep packet inspection, pattern recognition and classification of traffic, enabling policy-based networking and creating the foundation for enhanced IP-based services such as:

Global Velocity’s outbound content filtering software module provides the ability to detect signatures, fingerprints or profiles for customer-defined content within packet payloads. At speeds up to 10Gbps, the GVS2000 detects the specified content in real time and passes the detection to a software-enabled rules engine with user-defined policy configured through an intuitive web-based interface.

The rules-engine applies the policy to the detected content allowing for blocking, logging, alerting and alarming, notifications of the detection (routing messages to appropriate locations) and reporting on the detection.
